Upon further review, Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano likes QB Josh Freeman

Josh Freeman @JF5x was producing like one of the league's top quarterbacks from Week 6 through Week 11 last year. During that six-game stretch, he threw 16 touchdowns, three interceptions and averaged 285.8 yards per game. Then that period of success left Freeman as quickly as it arrived.
From Week 12 to the end of the season, Freeman recorded six touchdowns, 10 interceptions -- including consecutive four-pick games -- and saw his completion percentage tank into the mid-40s on a couple of days. Freeman now getting a contract extension, something that seemed destined just a few weeks earlier, was no longer an option for the organization as its 25-year-old QB headed into the final year of his rookie deal. Head coach Greg Schiano said shortly after the season that he would need time to evaluate Freeman before even committing to him as the team's starting quarterback.
Well, Schiano has done his evaluating, and he has come to this conclusion: "Josh Freeman is our quarterback," Schiano said Thursday via NFL.com. "And I believe that Josh Freeman -- with Josh Freeman -- we'll be able to accomplish our goals."

Fantasy Analysis:

So, that's settled. However, Freeman needs to make strides in accuracy down the field and show improved decision-making. No doubt, he put up some big numbers, but he must do that more consistently. He has the weapons around him to do so. He will enter next season as a QB2 in fantasy, but he hasn't even reached his athletic prime yet. The potential for Freeman, if the offensive skill players stay together, is large.
