Eagles QB Michael Vick on staying healthy: 'I'm going to be who I am and I’m not going to change'

Michael Vick @MikeVick is a player who gets hurt a lot. Of course, he doesn't want to get hurt. Every player wants to find a way to play 16 games and then some every year. But after a while, players have to come to terms with whom they are. And Vick, in a radio interview Saturday, sounded like a man who knows exactly what kind of player he is.
When asked what he will do to stay healthy for the entire 2013 season, Vick gave this answer:
"If you think about what I endured and how many hits I took (last year), I stayed upright for seven games and took about 180 hits," Vick said. "It is what it is. I am going to train the way I train, I'm not going to change anything. I'm going to be who I am and I'm not going to change. I think everybody just has to accept it."

Fantasy Analysis:

Vick is going to be running with the ball and opening himself up to hits often in Chip Kelly's offense. The refreshing thing here is that he doesn't sound at all afraid of what might happen to him. He had said in previous interviews that in the past couple of seasons, he played and ran with his top priority being not to get injured, and he still got injured. Now he is just going to be himself. He is going to be Michael Vick, and whatever will be, will be. I really like that mindset.
That being said ... dude's totally going to get hurt again. I will be waiting for him only if I can get him at a bargain rate in drafts.
