Rams cut WR Titus Young after 9 days

Wide receiver Titus Young @TitusYoung knows how to wear out a welcome quickly. He is looking for work yet again after being released by his second team in less than two weeks. The Rams announced Friday that they have parted ways with Young just nine days after claiming him off waivers from the Lions.
"We just felt like he was not the best option for us at that position," head coach Jeff Fisher said via the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "We went into detail. We felt like we've got a good, young group, and we feel like perhaps Titus is better suited for another organization."

Fantasy Analysis:

Considering the Rams were the only organization to put a claim in for Young, it's anyone's guess as to where he would be better suited. The Rams haven't given any other reasons for Young's release, but you have to figure they saw and heard a lot of what the Lions saw and heard during the 2012 season and wanted out of the relationship. Young is one of the most selfish, ignorant and delusional players in the league, and those traits are exacerbated by the fact that he really hasn't done anything in this league. He hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt. He's a lot like Terrell Owens ... just without all of the yards, touchdowns and Hall of Fame credentials.
But Young is also talented, only 23 years old and comes cheap. I know people are saying he has probably played his last game in the league, but I think someone will pick him up down the road. I think his on-field potential is still too great for some desperate team to not take a chance. Not that Young deserves another one.
