Raiders will stick with RB Darren McFadden in 2013

The Oakland Raiders and general manager Reggie McKenzie re-committed to running back Darren McFadden @dmcfadden20 for 2013 through comments made through the media. "I'm confident Darren's going to play his last season (of his contract), regardless of what's out there. We have no decision to do anything with Darren." McFadden is entering the final year of a six-year deal and is scheduled to earn $5.856 million. McKenzie attributed McFadden's underwhelming 2012 season due to former offensive coordinator Greg Knapp's zone-blocking system.

Fantasy Analysis:

Expectations were very high for McFadden after missing more than half of the 2011 season. Once again, injuries took a healthy bite out of his production this year. The former Arkansas Razorback only played in 12 games, rushing for 707 yards and just two TDs. McFadden only rushed for 3.3 yards per carry, the lowest total of his career. McFadden could end up a steal in fantasy drafts if he slips, but it all boils down to his health which has been up-and-down throughout his career.
