Lions WR Ryan Broyles may not be ready for start of next season

According to Lions general manager Martin Mayhew, wide receiver Ryan Broyles
will probably experience a lot of deja vu next season. Broyles, a second-round pick last April, didn't play in a game until Week 7 as he recovered from a 2011 ACL tear while at the University of Oklahoma. Then, just as he was coming into his own at the pro level, Broyles tore the ACL in his other knee in early December.
"I feel pretty confident he's going to get through this one too, but next year might be the same as this year was where he may not do much during camp and he may come on around midseason," Mayhew said of Broyles to the team's official web site. "That's kind of the way that might go."
Fantasy Analysis:
Mayhew said earlier this week that Titus Young
's status with the Lions is "up in the air." Whether Young stays or goes will have an impact on how much Broyles produces once he's ready to play in 2013. But for now, you can either forget about Broyles in drafts or leave room for him as a final-round selection. He will not be fully healthy come September.
