Usually making someone "an offer he can't refuse" means they're going to die, but in the NFL, this just means that the Cleveland Browns are very interested in Oregon head coach Chip Kelly. The Cleveland Plain Dealer is reporting that the Browns are pursuing Kelly very hard and have an interview with him this weekend. Browns CEO Joe Banner will need to act quickly because many interested parties are considering Kelly. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Kelly will meet with Buffalo on Friday.
Fantasy Analysis:
It will be interesting to see what happens once Kelly is in the NFL. Some college coaches flame out while others can have tremendous success, just look at Jim Harbaugh and Pete Carroll (not including his brief tenure as New England's head coach). Kelly's high-octane spread offense is already fast and will only be that much faster at the next level. Philadelphia, Buffalo, and Cleveland will interview with Kelly this weekend. He will coach his Oregon Ducks one finale time in the Fiesta Bowl.
