After missing his second straight practice Thursday, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb
plans to test his injured ankle Friday and "see where we're at on Sunday." According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the second-year receiver sprained his ankle last week against the Tennessee Titans and an X-ray earlier in the week came back negative, revealing no significant damage.
Fantasy Analysis:
Cobb fully embraced an expanded role this season, catching 80 passes for 954 yards and eight scores. He also currently leads the league with 2,342 all-purpose yards and was certainly a huge steal for any fantasy league which includes return yardage points. If Cobb manages to play, he should fit nicely in starting lineups as a safe WR2 given his consistent contributions amongst Green Bay's injured receiving corps.
