CBS Sports' Jason LaCanfora is reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles are very interested in University of Oregon head coach Chip Kelly. The rumors have reached a fever pitch that Kelly would be making the leap to the NFL for a head coaching gig. The Eagles will apparently make a "heavy push" to land the 49-year-old. Kelly has been the head honcho at Oregon since 2009 and previously worked as their offensive coordinator for two seasons.
Fantasy Analysis:
Bringing in a coach like Kelly would be a big move. His offense has been one of the most high-powered in college football over the last few years. The Ducks are currently ranked fourth in the BCS and will face Kansas State in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. Oregon also ranked third in the nation in rushing yards (323.3) and second in points scored per game (50.8). This would be a great fit for LeSean McCoy
and Bryce Brown too.
