Report: Jets will trade QB Mark Sanchez and release QB Tim Tebow

In the ongoing saga that has been the 2012 New York Jets football season, the latest reports affirm that the organization will try to trade quarterback Mark Sanchez @Mark_Sanchez during the offseason according to the New York Daily News. ESPN New York reported that the Jets will likely trade or release QB Tim Tebow @TimTebow. Multiple media outlets have confirmed these rumors so the wheels are likely in motion already although nothing has been formally announced.

Fantasy Analysis:

It will be interesting to see how the Jets approach this offseason. Will they draft a quarterback? Do they feel Greg McElroy @GVMcElroy can lead them next season? Maybe they opt to bring in a free agent. Either way, this season has been a total bust and nothing more really needs to be said about it. Tebow would be lucky to find anything more than backup spot next season and Sanchez may have played so poorly this year that no team would consider utilizing him as a franchise QB. Fantasy owners should avoid both players next season, regardless.
