Redskins team doctor to ultimately decide if QB Robert Griffin III plays

According to NFL.com's Albert Breer, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III @RGIII might play against the Browns. But that call won't be made by Griffin or owner Dan Snyder or head coach Mike Shanahan. Breer reports that it will depend on what the Redskins' team doctor determines on Sunday. Breer has been told by a team source that the Redskins are willing to start Griffin at less than 100 percent, but the coaches need to make sure that playing would not put him at risk of further injury to the sprained LCL in his right knee.
Griffin is listed as questionable on the injury report. He went through limited practice on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, but backup quarterback Kirk Cousins @KirkCousins8 took all of the practice reps with the first-team offense.

Fantasy Analysis:

As a Griffin owner, this is driving me crazy. It all seemed so positive early in the week as he was practicing without incident. Then we learned that he didn't take any snaps with the starting offense, and now whether he suits up or not will come down to the opinion of one doctor. We should know what that opinion is in about 14 hours. Again, I still believe Griffin is going to start and in that case, he needs to be in your lineup.
