Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III
practiced against on Thursday and was seen looking "more confident" and "throwing off" his injured leg according to Mike Jones of the Washington Post. Griffin appears to be locked back in as the starter in Week 15 and given that the Skins are still pushing for a playoff spot, they will need him on the field against the Cleveland Browns. Head coach Mike Shanahan will address the media later in the day and will likely further clarify Griffin's playing status.
Fantasy Analysis:
There's really no way Griffin doesn't start this game. The Redskins are all-in on this season and have everything to play for and far too much to lose. Will the rookie re-injure himself? It's possible but fantasy owners must have faith in their best option. Cleveland has the NFL's 21st-ranked pass defense and typically have struggled against the league's better passers. Would the Redskins really start Rex Grossman or Kirk Cousins
at a time like this? Don't believe any hype that suggests Griffin won't play, because he will.
