Cowboys WR Dez Bryant: 'They'd have to break my leg to keep me out'

Team doctors and Dallas Cowboys coaches don't yet know if wide receiver Dez Bryant @DezBryant will be able to play Sunday versus the Steelers. But there is no uncertainty for Bryant; a finger injury isn't going to keep him out of action.
"It would take more than this to take me out," Bryant said Tuesday. "No way. They'd have to break my leg to keep me out."
Bryant has a fractured index finger on his left hand, and he will be re-evaluated by team doctors on Wednesday, according to ESPNDallas.com. He will need surgery at some point, but Bryant is trying to see if he'll be able to play with a splint on the digit or with his fingers heavily taped -- or both -- and not cause serious further damage.

Fantasy Analysis:

While head coach Jason Garrett said Bryant's status for Sunday's game will come down to a "medical decision," owner Jerry Jones said earlier this week that in the end, it is Bryant's call. If that's the case, it certainly sounds like he will be playing against the Steelers this weekend. There's no telling what kind of impact the broken finger will have on Bryant's ability to catch, but keep in mind that he caught a touchdown pass with the finger already fractured in Week 14. If Bryant plays, you need to have him in your lineup. As I said yesterday, he should feast on an injury-riddled Steelers secondary that just got torn up by a very physically similar wide receiver in Danario Alexander.
