St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher told reporters that wide receiver Danny Amendola
has a "much better chance to play" in Week 15 as he continues to recover from a persistent foot injury. The former Texas Tech player has been inactive for the past two weeks and played very limited snaps in Week 12. Fisher tried to give Amendola a chance to play on Sunday but they decided against it before gametime. Lastly, he hadded that Amendola must be "close to 100 percent" to play effectively.
Fantasy Analysis:
Amendola can be a huge threat in the passing game when he's healthy but this 2012 season has seen huge swings in his productivity and playing time because of injuries. First, he seriously injured his shoulder which caused him to miss multiple weeks and this foot injury has been more of the same. Amendola is a risky PPR start should he play though. The Rams do appear to have a good trio of receivers for the future between Amendola, rookie Chris Givens
, and Brandon Gibson
.
