Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey told reporters that running back Tashard Choice
is not likely to get many carries with RB Fred Jackson
out for the remainder of the season. "We're going to get the opportunity here in the next few weeks for [Spiller] to get it a lot and we won't have what I term two great backs," Gailey said. "I think Tashard is a very good back, but to me he's not in Fred's category. So there won't be a lot of sharing of duties. C.J. will have to take a big part of the load now."
Fantasy Analysis:
Although he only has 944 rushing yards, there is no ignoring C.J. Spiller
's 6.6 yards per carry. He has 11 runs of 20-plus yards, second in the NFL and only behind Minnesota's Adrian Peterson. Add Spiller's 34 receptions for 354 yards and have a fringe RB1 who may only touch the ball 12 to 15 times per games. Now that Jackson is out, Spiller is a must-start each and every week. Given Gailey's statements about Choice, he is not worth an add off the waiver wire.
