The Chiefs have already said that wide receiver Dwayne Bowe
won't play this Sunday against the Raiders, but what will he do for the rest of the season? According to ProFootballTalk.com, Bowe should make himself comfortable on the sidelines because he won't play again until 2013. PFT was told by a league source Monday that Bowe will be placed on season-ending injured reserve as a result of the broken ribs he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Browns.
Fantasy Analysis:
Jon Baldwin
and Terrance Copper will replace Bowe as the Chiefs' primary outside wide receivers, but they aren't worth a good, deep look in fanatasy leagues with 12 teams or less. Bowe's time in Kansas City is probably up since he is a free agent at the close of the season. He and his fantasy owners will want to forget his 2012 season, but if Bowe can get paired up with just a decent quarterback in an offense with a major need at wideout, he should return to being a fine WR2 at least.
