Who's in and who's out of the early games in Week 14

PLAYOFFS!? Yep, playoffs. It's time to get real with the fake football, kids. To help you this morning, as always, we'll be letting you know who is active and inactive for the 1 p.m. Eastern kickoffs. With 10 early games, there are a lot of names to watch this morning. Chief among them are no Chiefs, but they do include Michael Turner, Danny Amendola @DannyAmendola, Steve Johnson and Michael Bush @michaelbush29. Keep refreshing this page until the early kicks for all of the necessary info.

Players who have already been ruled out for Week 13 include Jordy Nelson, James Starks, Cecil Shorts, Rashad Jennings, Donald Brown and LeSean McCoy. For a full list of injuries around the league this week, click on the link below to the NFL's official injury report.

-- Good news for Robert Griffin III and Alfred Morris: NFL Network's Alfred Breer is reporting that Terrell Suggs @untouchablejay4 will not play today because of his torn biceps muscle.
-- Danny Amendola is inactive for the Rams. He has made some strides with his foot injury, but it's still holding him back, and there's no reason for the Rams to risk him. With Amendola out, I really like Chris Givens as a high-upside WR3.
Jonathan Stewart @Jonathanstewar1 and Brandon LaFell are inactive for the Panthers. No surprise there as both didn't practice this week. Steve Smith is the only Panthers wideout you can trust versus the Falcons. And DeAngelo Williams is merely a flex option.
-- Bengals kicker Mike Nugent is inactive. But tight end Jermaine Gresham is active. He's a decent play versus the Cowboys.
-- Tim Tebow is active for the Jets, Greg McElroy is inactive. Whatever, So now that we have that out of the way ....
-- Falcons RB Michael Turner is active despite an elbow injury. He is losing snaps to Jacquizz Rodgers, but I like him as an RB2 against a Panthers team that he always rips up.
-- Steve Johnson is active for the Bills. He was limited during the practice week because of a hamstring injury. He is an OK WR3 against the Rams, who have a sneaky-good pass defense.
-- Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray is active. There are questions about his health, but he looked OK against the Eagles, and he should get another 20+ carries. Easy RB2.
-- Michael Bush is active for the Bears. Matt Forte's owners all give an annoyed grunt.
-- Alshon Jeffery is also active for the Bears. He is starting and is a desperation WR3 as a big-play threat against the Vikings. Devin Hester is active, but he's not on the fantasy radar.
-- Ben Roethlisberger is active, as expected, for the Steelers. He is a low-end QB1 today, and his return raises the values of Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown a lot.
-- Titans WR Kenny Britt is active. He is no more than a WR3, but he has been heavily targeted near the end zone in recent weeks.
-- Rashard Mendenhall is inactive, a healthy scratch for the Steelers. Jonathan Dwyer will start, and Isaac Redman will be his chance of pace. Mendenhall is off the fantasy radar.

Fantasy Analysis:

Nelson is out with another hamstring injury. Starks has a knee injury that will keep him out for a while, probably the rest of the regular season. The Packers' offense shouldn't miss a beat without Nelson as they go to Greg Jennings, Randall Cobb, James Jones and the rest numerous times tonight versus the Lions. I don't like any RB at all in this game other than Joique Bell. This will be a pure aerial show.
Cecil Shorts and Rashad Jennings are out with concussions. Shorts seems to be futher along than Jennings as he has reportedly passed his baseline tests, but he is still being bogged down by concussion symptoms. For today, Justin Blackmon is the Jags' No. 1 WR and the only passing option there worth using. But a day against Antonio Cromartie might be a long one for the rookie. He's a WR3. And Montell Owens will get the start at running back. He's a flex just because of opportunity, but who knows if he can actually get it done.
Donald Brown was ruled out for today's action back on Wednesday because of an ankle injury he suffered last week. If you follow me on Twitter (@Spokes_Murphy), you'll see that I absolutely love Vick Ballard today versus Tennessee. He's a strong RB2.
We already know that Michael Vick, barring an injury to Nick Foles, will be on the sidelines for the rest of the season. There appears to be a chance that McCoy could return to the field at some point this year if he gains clearance. Why would Philly play him down the stretch of a lost season? I don't know, and I don't think they will in the end. For this week at least, Bryce Brown is a low-end RB1, even against the Buccaneers' solid run D.
