An ankle injury that Jets tight end Dustin Keller
suffered during last week's win over the Cardinals will keep him sidelined for this Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars. Although head coach Rex Ryan said during the week that Keller doesn't have a high ankle sprain and is "getting better," Keller take part in any practice this week. He was listed as doubtful on Friday's injury report before being ruled out today. Jeff Cumberland will get the start at tight end.
Fantasy Analysis:
Cumberland was involved in maybe the most worthless touchdown in fantasy football this season when he caught a 1-yarder from backup QB Greg McElroy last week, the game's only and game-winning touchdown. Keller has been pretty productive when on the field, especially from Weeks 7-12. But the Jets' quarterback situation will always keep his ceiling low. Now that the fantasy playoffs are here, Keller is only a mid-range TE2 for the reason. Cumberland is way off the radar.
