Jaguars will be without WR Cecil Shorts, RB Rashad Jennings on Sunday

Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts @CecilShortsIII will not play this weekend against the Jets as he deals with concussion symptoms. Shorts cleared his baseline tests after suffering the concussion in Week 13, but his symptoms reportedly returned later on, and he didn't practice at all this week.
Also missing for the Jaguars is running back Rashad Jennings @RashadJennings. He has a concussion and didn't practice this week as well. This all means that rookie Justin Blackmon @JustBlack81 will be the team's No. 1 wide receiver on Sunday, and third-stringer Montell Owens will get the start at running back.

Fantasy Analysis:

We could have a Cardinals-Jets repeat on our hands with this one. If you're looking for some big fantasy numbers out of this game, you might be blind. I'll consider Owens as a flex play because he's probably going to get a majority of the carries, but nobody really knows if he can even play. Blackmon will see a lot of Antonio Cromartie, so that hurts. Chad Henne is impossible to trust after that dismal performance against the Bills.
And then you've got the Jets' offense. Shonn Greene? OK. Bilal Powell? Maybe. If you want anything out of this game, you're probably better off depending on the defenses. Neither of them are great, but they are viable plays because of the lack of potency in these two offenses.
