Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts and RB Rashad Jennings not cleared to practice

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Cecil Shorts @CecilShortsIII and running back Rashad Jennings @RashadJennings have not been cleared yet to practice after sustaining concussion injuries in Week 13. According to head coach Mike Mularkey, Shorts has already passed his concussion tests but is still dealing with symptoms. Should Shorts be unable to go, it places a lot of pressure on Justin Blackmon @JustBlack81 to step up. Behind Jennings on the depth chart are Montell Owens and Greg Jones @leadblock33.

Fantasy Analysis:

If Jennings is out, trusting any of the remaining backups on Jacksonville is a big stretch outside of adding them to your roster in deeper formats. If Shorts is out, give a big bump to Justin Blackmon and a modest bump to Marcedes Lewis. Shorts has really come out of nowhere to emerge as a solid WR2 across all formats as he catches bomb after bomb for big play touchdowns. Monitor both players throughout the week as the game approaches as they'll both likely be game-time decisions.
