New York Jets tight end Dustin Keller
was unable to practice on Wednesday because of an ankle injury. There were conflicting reports on this injury but the team specifically has said that it is not a high ankle sprain. There is swelling in Keller's ankle and is considered day-to-day. Keller only caught two passes for 17 yards Sunday during the Jets' slim 7-6 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
Fantasy Analysis:
Since Mark Sanchez
simply cannot be trusted, no Jets pass-catcher can either. This is the fantasy playoffs and relying on any weapon in this offense would be a mistake. Sanchez threw three picks against Arizona and was replaced by second-year QB Greg McElroy
. Without knowing what kind of chemistry McElroy has with Keller makes the fifth-year TE a non-option. Look elsewhere if your'e in need of a replacement TE1/TE2.
