Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy
is in Phase 3 of his concussion recovery. Just a few days ago, McCoy was still in Phase 1. This means there has been progress made, yet for contrast, Michael Vick
has been in Phase 4 of his recovery for two weeks. With rookie back Bryce Brown playing so well, there is little reason to rush back McCoy unnecessarily. In his last two games, the rookie has rushed for 347 yards and four TDs with eight receptions for 25 yards and three lost fumbles.
Fantasy Analysis:
The fumbles are a bit troubling, but all stats considered, Brown has been playing at an extremely high level. McCoy probably would have had similar success against two struggling teams (Carolina and Dallas). If by some chance Brown is still available, he is a must-add and must-start across all formats. The Eagles face a solid Tampa defense in Week 14. Since rookie QB Nick Foles
is starting for the remainder of the season, the Eagles will keep handing the ball off to Brown. If McCoy does return, it may be a split backfield.
