Jaguars wide receivers Cecil Shorts
and Justin Blackmon
are suddenly iffy to play this weekend against the Bills. Both were listed as full participants during Wednesday's practice but at some point that day, both players suffered a soft-tissue injury. Shorts has a hamstring injury while Blackmon has a groin injury, and both of them didn't practice Thursday. The extent of the injuries is unknown.
Fantasy Analysis:
Remember when we didn't care about the Jaguars for fantasy purposes? Shorts and Blackmon have helped make this passing game relevant. But now, I would consider both at least questionable to face the Bills. These types of injuries could linger, and they don't have much time to heal. We should know more about their status on Friday, but if those two can't play, heavily temper quarterback Chad Henne's Week 13 expectations. The Jags' wide receiver depth chart past Blackmon and Shorts is a who's who of "Who's that?"
