Report: Cowboys WR Miles Austin expected to play

ESPN Dallas' Ed Werder is reporting a source told him that Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin @MilesAustinIII is expected to play in Week 13 against the Phildelphia Eagles. Austin is currently hurt with hip and backinjuries and had a MRI done last week to check on his strained hip. The seventh-year wideout was injured early last week against the Washington Redskins and did not return. Austin has played through nagging injuries throughout the season, having not missed a game.

Fantasy Analysis:

If Dallas wants to at least stay in the coversation, although it is very unlikely, they must continue to win. Losing to a Philadelphia team that has not won a game since September is not an option. For fantasy owners, Austin is a risky start even though he is technically ranked as a solid WR2 in most fantasy formats. He has not scored a touchdown since Week 7 and has not eclipsed 100 receiving yards since Week 8. Coming off these injuries, he is obviously trending downward right now.
