Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray
will try to practice Wednesday, but is "not guaranteed" to play in Week 13 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Murray continues to slowly rehabilitate his injured foot. Depending on how his foot feels during and after practice, the Cowboys will evaluate whether he continues to practice in preperation to play. Murray has not been able to pass strength and range-of-motion tests yet, so there is still a long way to go before he returns.
Fantasy Analysis:
Murray has not played in six weeks, dating back the Cowboys Week 6 game against the Baltimore Ravens on Oct. 14. Over those six weeks, Dallas is 3-3 with wins over Carolina, Philly, and Cleveland. Their three losses? New York Giants, Atlanta, and Washington. Notice a difference between those two groups of teams? Even though Dallas is still in the mix for a wildcard spot, they'll need a drastic improvement to close the season to overtake the teams ahead of them. When Murray does return, he is a risky start, especially with so much on the line from here on out.
