Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden
was concussed during Sunday's Week 12 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Weeden's head made contact with the knee of teammate Joe Thomas while the rookie was falling to the ground. Weeden was taken off the field, but did not return. The injury does not appear to be serious, yet he will still need to pass all the concussion protocols leading up to his next game.
Fantasy Analysis:
This was a big win for Cleveland over a Pittsburgh team clinging to a playoff spot. Weeden wasn't having that great of a game up until his injury (17-of-26 for 158 yards with one TD and one INT), but it was enough to take down the Steelers, who were without Ben Roethlisberger. The rookie out of Oklahoma State is certainly not a fantasy option during this critical time of the season, nor is his backup Colt McCoy
should he play next week.
