Browns QB Brandon Weeden concussed Sunday

Cleveland Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden @bweeden3 was concussed during Sunday's Week 12 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Weeden's head made contact with the knee of teammate Joe Thomas while the rookie was falling to the ground. Weeden was taken off the field, but did not return. The injury does not appear to be serious, yet he will still need to pass all the concussion protocols leading up to his next game.

Fantasy Analysis:

This was a big win for Cleveland over a Pittsburgh team clinging to a playoff spot. Weeden wasn't having that great of a game up until his injury (17-of-26 for 158 yards with one TD and one INT), but it was enough to take down the Steelers, who were without Ben Roethlisberger. The rookie out of Oklahoma State is certainly not a fantasy option during this critical time of the season, nor is his backup Colt McCoy @ColtMcCoy should he play next week.

As a Browns fan my first reaction is, THANK GOD JOE'S KNEE IS OK!!! As far as Weeden goes I'm a little disappointed with his second half so far. After starting the season looking develop-able with a great skill set and arm (just no receivers that can hang onto ball), both his decision making and throw accuracy seem to have regressed. His receivers actually haven't been the problem lately, he just isn't getting the ball to the right spots.

But seriously, JOE'S KNEE IS OK, RIGHT?
