Seattle Seahawks cornerbacks Richard Sherman
and Brandon Browner have each been hit with a four-game suspension for violating the league's policy against performance-enhancing drugs. Both players are appealing the suspension and have already claimed they are innocent. The drug used has not officially been named, but it has been reported that their agents claim the drug was Adderall.
Fantasy Analysis:
This could be a death blow to Seattle's playoff hopes. Both corners are tall, physical players that allow their defense to play a lot of man coverage on the outside. This allows their defense to play far more aggressive in their front seven. The Seahawks currenly hold the final wildcard spot for the NFC playoffs through a series of tiebreakers with the other two 6-5 teams. Technically no one has been eliminated from the postseason yet and there are eight teams within two games of Seattle.
