Unless Bears quarterback Jay Cutler suffers a sudden reoccurrence of concussion symptoms between now and Sunday's kickoff against the Vikings, there will be no Alex Smith-like last-second hook coming for him from any doctors. Cutler saw an independent neurologist Saturday and was cleared to play in tomorrow's game. It represented the final obstacle in Cutler's concussion recovery, and he is fully expected to start.
"It's always good to have your starter back," running back Matt Forte said Friday, prior to the doctor's approval. "Jay is very comfortable in this offense and in the passing game especially. We've got to get the running game going to help out the passing game."
Fantasy Analysis:
So there you have it. Cutler is back after a one-game absence, and the Bears' offense should look MUCH better this week because of it. Cutler is a decent QB2.
