Colts RB Donald Brown ready after missing Thursday's practice

Colts running back Donald Brown was back at practice on Friday, one day after being a practice no-show. Brown missed that day's work not because of a setback with his balky knee; that's just how the Colts have been handling him for the past couple of weeks. In any case, he is listed as probable to play in Sunday's game against the Patriots and will split carries with Vick Ballard.

Fantasy Analysis:

This is for those out there who were depending on Brown and were suddenly alarmed when they read that he didn't practice Thursday. And if you're depending on Donald Brown ... why? My dislike for Brown and what he does on the field is no secret. Just listen to the Tuesday edition of this week's FFToolbox podcast. Me and Ben Standig got into a debate about Brown which basically ended with me saying it's OK to drop him if you need to in 12-team leagues while Ben took him as his sleeper of the week. If you are expecting more than seven fantasy points, I think you're dreaming.

Donald Brown was a solid RB until he got hurt. He's probably not quite 100% yet. He's not a bad back, the main problem now is that he's probably stuck in a timeshare with Ballard for the rest of the year.
