If you listen to the many reports out there, you know there's a chance that Michael Vick
won't start another game this season. But let's just stay with what we do know right now: Vick won't play this Sunday against the Redskins. Vick never really had a chance since he has yet to even take his concussion tests. Eagles trainer Rick Burkholder told Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer that Vick is still experiencing concussion symptoms and is not very alert.
"He's not the Michael Vick I know when he's healthy," Burkholder said.
Rookie Nick Foles
will get his first career start in Vick's place.
Fantasy Analysis:
Even if head coach Andy Reid doesn't want to commit to Foles for the rest of the year, he probably won't have a choice for at least another week or two. Given the lack of progress Vick has made this week, he'll likely sit out Week 12. I'm not really sure what to expect from Foles, but considering the very favorable matchup and the quality targets surrounding him, Foles is squarely in the QB2 range.
