Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey told reporters that running back Fred Jackson
was experiencing some possible concussion-like symptoms. Jackson took a shot to the head during Buffalo's loss to the Patriots. The sixth-year back will be re-evaluated Monday. Unfortunately, the Bills are on a short week with their next game coming on Thursday night against the Miami Dolphins.
Fantasy Analysis:
If it is a concussion, Jackson is not likely to be ready in time to play on Thursday. It's a shame too because he played pretty well against New England. He rushed for 80 yards and two scores, while adding four receptions for 35 yards. Assuming he is out in Week 11, C.J. Spiller
will have to shoulder the workload once again. Even though Spiller hasn't scored a touchdown in nearly a month, he eats up yards with all that speed. In his last three games, he is averaging about 111 total yards, which is enough for a good, but not great fantasy play. One final note: When Spiller scores a touchdown this season, the Bills are 3-1. When he doesn't score, they are 0-5.
