Eagles QB Michael Vick concussed early in Sunday's loss

Eagles fans longing for Nick Foles @NFoles8 finally got what they wanted on Sunday after Michael Vick @MikeVick was forced out of the game against the Cowboys in the second quarter with a concussion. The assumption is Vick was injured while scrambling up the middle for a short gain. He dived head first, and his head got driven into the ground as defensive lineman Jay Ratliff landed on top of him. On the next play, Vick was pushed to the ground on a pass attempt and appeared to hit his head again. He walked to the locker room and was replaced by Foles for the remainder of the game. Foles completed 22 of 32 passes for 209 yards, one touchdown and two turnovers -- both of which were returned for defensive scores.

Fantasy Analysis:

Vick was reportedly groggy in the locker room. He'll have to go through the usual tests and procedures during the week before being cleared to play versus the Redskins in Week 12. Foles received heavy cheers as he made his way on to the field, but he showed that a quarterback change isn't going to make this team any better. His one touchdown was due in large part to a busted coverage, and he had no chance once the Eagles fell behind by two scores in the fourth quarter. We will have a lot more on this story during the week. Add Foles if you really need a starting QB.
