Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez will not play today

Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez 's right ankle still isn't right. According to NFL Network's Albert Breer, Hernandez will not play today versus the Bills. This will be the fifth game that Hernandez has missed this season because of the ankle, which he originally sprained back in Week 2. He returned in Week 6 but then was held back from flying to London in Week 8, and the bye week apparently didn't help him enough. Visanthe Shiancoe was activated from injured reserve on Saturday and will take his spot, but he is of no use in fantasy.

Fantasy Analysis:

High ankle sprains are no joke, kids. This is a really concerning situation now. We thought the bye week would eliminate this issue, but it didn't. Hernandez even went through some limited practice during the week but right now, there's really no clear return date. We'll check back on him in Week 11. Unfortunately, he will miss a great matchup against a bad Bills defense, but the Patriots have plenty of other options to pick up the slack, obviously.
