Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells recently said there is "no doubt" he would play once he is eligible to return from injured reserve in Week 12 against the St. Louis Rams. "My knee feels great," Wells said. "My toe's feeling good." Arizona is on their bye this week and will need help making a push into the playoffs. After winning their first four games, the Cards are winless since Week 5 having reeled off five straight losses.
Fantasy Analysis:
Wells may have more fantasy value on paper than he does on practice. After all, he will re-enter the team's starting lineup and be added in most leagues right away. The problem is that Arizona the NFL's worst rushing attack, averaging only 76.2 yards per game. This weakness only makes it much tougher to establish their passing game, which also ranks poorly (21st). If you're in desperate need for RB depth, Wells isn't a bad addition. Every defense they face from here on out ranks in the top half in the league in terms of fantasy points allowed to RBs.
