Vikings WR Percy Harvin listed day-to-day, does not practice Wednesday

Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier said Wednesday that wide reciever Percy Harvin @Percy_Harvin "made a lot of progress" with his injuries. Even though he did not practice, Harvin has a history of playing through injuries, most notably his migraine issues in the past. Just two days ago the former Florida Gator told the Minnesota Star Tribune that he'd be a "longshot" to play in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Analysis:

In a previous update, I speculated that if Harvin was dinged up, it might be best to trade him away for a maximum value since he is more or less the top fantasy receiver, particularly in PPR leagues. That may have been premature, but it remains to be seen how a shifty player that relies so much on his short area burst will adjust to having hamstring and ankle injuries. If he plays, fantasy owners have to start him regardless of matchup. It's as simple as that.
