Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew
has missed two games because of his sprained left foot, and he is not close to returning to play. That's because Jones-Drew hasn't been cleared to put weight on the foot and is still using a cart to get around, according to the Florida Times-Union. For whatever it's worth, head coach Mike Mularkey said Monday that he "doesn't think" Jones-Drew will miss the rest of the season.
Fantasy Analysis:
A Lisfranc sprain was ruled out pretty early on, but you have to wonder. Like with DeMarco Murray, there isn't a lot of hope surrounding this situation right now. On Monday, Mularkey called Jones-Drew "questionable" to play in Week 11, but that seems to be way too optimistic. Rashad Jennings
will continue to be the main man in the Jags' backfield. While he hasn't done as well as I thought he would, Jennings should be considered an RB2 over the next four weeks -- if he starts another four games -- especially with matchups against the Colts, Titans and Bills all coming his way within the next month.
