Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew still can't put weight on injured foot

Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew @Jones_Drew32 has missed two games because of his sprained left foot, and he is not close to returning to play. That's because Jones-Drew hasn't been cleared to put weight on the foot and is still using a cart to get around, according to the Florida Times-Union. For whatever it's worth, head coach Mike Mularkey said Monday that he "doesn't think" Jones-Drew will miss the rest of the season.

Fantasy Analysis:

A Lisfranc sprain was ruled out pretty early on, but you have to wonder. Like with DeMarco Murray, there isn't a lot of hope surrounding this situation right now. On Monday, Mularkey called Jones-Drew "questionable" to play in Week 11, but that seems to be way too optimistic. Rashad Jennings @RashadJennings will continue to be the main man in the Jags' backfield. While he hasn't done as well as I thought he would, Jennings should be considered an RB2 over the next four weeks -- if he starts another four games -- especially with matchups against the Colts, Titans and Bills all coming his way within the next month.
