Vikings WR Percy Harvin's MRI shows sprained ankle

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin @Percy_Harvin had an MRI to check on the condition of his injured ankle. The injury is only a sprain, not high-ankle sprain or a fracture so Minnesota is optimistic that he will play in Week 10 against the suddenly surging Detroit Lions. A lost fumble hurt his fantasy numbers since he only accounted for 34 total yards. Harvin's playing status will be updated throughout the week.

Fantasy Analysis:

Harvin had to briefly left Sunday's game in the third quarter and finished with a limp. Last week, he was downgraded during the week because of his hamstring so the injuries are adding up. The fourth-year wideout still leads the league in receptions (62) and is currently tenth in receiving yards (677). For a player that relies so heavily on his speed, it'll be interesting to see how he finishes the remainder of the season. If there is any interest, it may be best to trade Harvin away while his trade value is still high.

You don't trade Percy Harvin - EVER. That is a horrible fantasy suggestion. Dude has only missed 3 games in 4 years.

If you can get nearly equal value to his pre-injury, sure. Trade away.

But there's still 4-5 weeks to playoffs for a lot of people... he could/should be mostly recovered by then. Not gonna trade him.
