Cowboys WR Dez Bryant sits out Thursday's practice with hip injury
Although he was seen during the media-allowed portion of practice, Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant didn't actually practice on Thursday. It was the second straight absence for Bryant, who injured his right hip as he came crashing down to the turf with what would have likely been a game-winning touchdown catch against the Giants on Sunday if not for a couple of stray fingers. However, he says it won't keep him out of Sunday's game versus the Falcons.
"My hip's bothering me a little bit," Bryant said, "but I don't think it's going to stop me from playing Sunday. I'm ready."
It doesn't seem like this is too much to worry about right now, but we'll have to see what Bryant does on Friday. The Falcons are allowing the fifth-fewest points to WRs this season, and Dez has been certainly tough to depend on, but he is well within the WR2 range.
