Fortunately for Percy Harvin
's fantasy owners, it wasn't his hamstring that held the Vikings' wide receiver out of practice Thursday, as was previously reported. Head coach Leslie Frazier clarified later in the day that Harvin's absence was due to a family issue, and he is still expected to play Sunday against the Seahawks.
Fantasy Analysis:
Harvin was limited on Wednesday because of his hamstring, so the fear level shot up when news hit that he had completely missed Thursday's session. As it turns out, he was just getting his normal Wednesday rest, and his hamstring isn't too big of a deal. He has to face a formidable challege in the Seahawks' secondary this weekend, but Harvin is simply, for the lack of an actual term, unbenchable. In standard leagues, he has scored at least eight fantasy points in every game this season and is tied for the league lead with 60 catches.
