St. Louis Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola
told reporters that he "absolutely" will be ready to play after the team's Week 9 bye. The Rams travel to San Francisco Week 10. After a positive 3-2 start, the Rams have lost three straight in games against Miami, Green Bay, and New England. Coincidentally, the Rams haven't won a game since Amendola went down in Week 5. Amendola is still the team's leading receiver with 49 targets, 32 receptions, 395 receiving yards, and is tied with Brandon Gibson
and Chris Givens
for the team lead with two receiving TDs.
Fantasy Analysis:
Once Amendola officially returns, he's most viable as a PPR starter and a potential flex play in standard formats. The bulk of his production came from a huge Week 4 game against the Washington Redskins in which he caught 15 of 16 targets for 160 yards and a score. Amendola's shoulder was severely separated some weeks ago yet was nearly ready to play against the Pats in London last week.
