Lions RB Mikel Leshoure misses practice, not injury related

Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartch reassured the media and fans by stating that running back Mikel Leshoure
missed Wednesday's practice for personal reasons and not an injury. This goes against earlier reports which speculated that the second-year back injured his leg during the third quarter of Sunday's game. Leshoure is questionable heading into Week 9's contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fantasy Analysis:
The Lions need to start better establishing their running game. Forcing defenses to respect Leshoure and Co. takes a lot of pressure of Matthew Stafford
and Calvin Johnson
. Given this week's favorable matchup, consider Leshoure a solid flex option. Realistically though, Leshoure is a spot-start player since Detroit hasn't provided a heavy workload to him just yet. It also doesn't help that Joique Bell
is playing a lot too.
