Titans WR Kenny Britt undergoes MRI on knee, should be fine

Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt @KennyBritt_18 has dealt with knee pain and other leg injuries for the past couple of years. That continued to be the case Monday. According to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, Britt was limping through the team's locker room today and underwent an MRI on his knee. But the results came back negative, so he he is not expected to miss any game time. The Titans host the Bears in Week 9.

Fantasy Analysis:

Maybe this isn't really news since head coach Mike Munchak said Monday that Britt undergoes an MRI every week. After five consecutive games with fewer than 65 yards and just one touchdown all season, it would be nice to point to a new injury to account for Britt's shortcomings, but the fact is he is still struggling to return to form following surgeries to both knees in the past 13 months. Steve Smith had success against the Bears yesterday, but Britt will continue to be a risky WR3 until he shows that he is at full health. And there's no guarantee that will come this season.
