Finally, Matthew Stafford put up a big fantasy line Sunday. He threw for 352 yards and three touchdowns, marking his second-highest yardage total and his first multi-touchdown effort of the season. But wide receiver Calvin Johnson
could muster only three catches for 46 yards, his second straight game with less than 50 yards. So what's the deal? Johnson hinted after the game that a sore knee might have something to do with it.
"It's tough to stick my foot in the ground with my knee hurting, but that's not an excuse," Johnson said.
Johnson didn't practice Friday leading into the game, and head coach Jim Schwartz said Monday that Johnson is "plowing through" his knee pain.
Fantasy Analysis:
We don't know what's wrong with Megatron's knee, specifically, but he will most likely miss quite a bit of practice time this week and going forward. Still, he is going to play this Sunday against the Jaguars and keep playing. He is not putting up 2011 stats, but as long as he's active, are you really going to sit Calvin Johnson? No.
