Houston Texans running back Ben Tate
injured his hamstring in the fourth quarter of the team's big 43-13 win over the Baltimore Ravens. Tate entered the game with a nagging toe injury and head coach Gary Kubiak said afterward that Tate's injury was the "team's biggest concern." Tate finished the game with 47 yards on 10 carries. There is no timetable for the former Auburn running back's return.
Fantasy Analysis:
Tate provides the insurance the Texans need behind RB Arian Foster
. Both backs could start on just about any team in the NFL. Tate has 1,120 career rushing yards on 218 carries, good for a 5.1 ypc avg. Next on the depth chart is former Seattle Seahawks third-down back Justin Forsett
. This injury may force the Texans to bring up practice squad RB Davin Meggett, a former University of Maryland standout.
