After suffering a neck sprain on the second play from scrimmage, Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones
sustained a bruised knee that forced him to miss most of the final two drives. Jones finished with 44 rushing yards on 15 carries and five receptions for 30 yards. Phillip Tanner
had 14 touches for 38 yards. Dallas beat Carolina 19-14, and will need a more consistent offensive output in the coming weeks. DeMarco Murray
is scheduled for more tests to follow-up on his sprained left foot.
Fantasy Analysis:
Jones has spent his entire career banged up, so the key here is for the Cowboys to get Murray back in the starting lineup. Losing next week to the Giants wouldn't be a death sentence, but it would give the Giants a three-game advantage over Dallas in the standings. For anybody who added Tanner, it's safe to cut him loose. I'd say the same for Jones, but Murray is developing a history of missing the occasional game.
