New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks has yet to participate in team practices yet was able to work on individual drills on Wednesday. ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk tweeted that head coach Tom Coughlin remains hopeful that Nicks will play and is not aware if Nicks' knee swelling has improved. Nicks has not played since the Giants' Week 2 win over the Tampa Bay Bucs on Sept. 16.
Fantasy Analysis:
Nicks missed anywhere from one to three games in his first three seasons. Now, he's already missed three games to start the 2012 season. Looking forward, as soon as he re-enters the starting lineup, the former North Carolina receiver has to start for your fantasy squad. Eli Manning has been able to connect with any receiver the Giants play so it only makes sense that Nicks would outplay his less-qualified teammates. Now might be a great time to trade for Nicks because once he's healthy, he's going to put up good numbers.
