Chiefs players rip fans that cheered QB Matt Cassel injury

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel sustained a concussion on Sunday but from the reaction of the fans, one might've thought Kansas City just made a big play. Offensive tackle Eric Winston said after the game, "It's sickening. I've never, ever -- and I've been in some rough times on some rough teams -- I've never been more embarrassed in my life to play football than at that moment right there. I get emotional about it because these guys, they work their butts off. Matt Cassel hasn't done anything to you people."

Fantasy Analysis:

RB Jamaal Charles @jcharles25 also defended Cassel and even the defender who accidentally injured him, Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata said, "For them to cheer for him being hurt, that's just not cool." Not exactly a very eloquent or poignant analysis, but it doesn't make it anymore true. The Chiefs are 1-4 and Cassel is tied for the league lead with nine interceptions. We can all agree that Cassel isn't playing that well, but the fans crossed a line. There's still plenty of talent on this team and they're very young at some positions. A bad start can be overcome, especially in the AFC West. Cassel's playing status for Week 6 is not yet known. Brady Quinn @BQ9 is the team's primary backup.

98% of the people atarrowhead were not cheering the fact that Cassel got hurt but the fact that Quin was on the field warming up. This issue is totally rediculous. If you weren't there then you should not speak!!
