Houston Texans wide receiver Lestar Jean has been ruled out for Week 5 due to a knee injury. Jean had arthroscopic surgery on his meniscus before Week 4 and has quickly recovered. The Texans are optimistic he'll return in Week 6, in which case he will resume his role as the team's No. 3 receiver behind Andre Johnson
and Kevin Walter.
Fantasy Analysis:
The Texans look to be one of the NFL's best teams in 2012 and Jean is expected to play a significant role in that. Jean is the heir apparent to start alongside Johnson. The second-year receiver isn't a fantasy impact player for now, but he is a well-built, tall player with a ton of long-term potential. Some fantasy football gurus considered him to be a deep sleeper this offseason, but more realistically, he'll blossom into more relevant and more producitve fantasy guy in the seasons to come.
