Chargers still have trust in RB Ryan Mathews

During his post-game press conference, San Diego Chargers head coach Norv Turner told reporters that he has "great trust" in running back Ryan Mathews
despite giving him fewer carries in Week 4. A key fumble in his first game back doesn't appear to be a cause for concern. Mathews rushed for 61 yards on 14 carries and added two receptions for 21 yards in his Week 4 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Fantasy Analysis:
No. 2 back Jackie Battle not only had 15 carries, he also accounted for 81 total yards and two scores on Sunday. The Chargers seem content to split carries and spread the ball around. No one had more than Battle's four receptions and WR Eddie Royal
led the team with five targets. This offense hasn't been conducive for fantasy owners as none of San Diego's playmakers has produced consistently.
