The Patriots will be without wide receiver Julian Edelman
this weekend in Buffalo. He's been the team's No. 2 wide receiver for the majority of this season, but a hand injury kept him out of practice all week, and he has been officially ruled out for the Bills game. What is exactly wrong with Edelman's hand is unknown. He suffered the injury just before halftime last Sunday night versus the Ravens.
Fantasy Analysis:
Week after week, Wes Welker
's potential keeps rising. Hernandez gets hurt, then Edelman. Gronkowski might not be 100 percent. At this rate, Welker will be getting 35 targets per game by Week 8. The speculation is that Edelman's hand is actually broken, which would sideline him for a number of weeks. But for right now, I think Welker is a high-end WR2. FFToolbox has ranked him No. 10 at WR this week. And let's not forget about Brandon Lloyd. FFToolbox has him slotted at No. 17.
