Early prognosis says Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin will be back Week 4

Let the daily updates for Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin @jmac_18 begin! Head coach Andy Reid has already told reporters that Maclin's return is anticipated. The Eagles passing game has up and down with or without Maclin. After only registering one catch (which went for a TD) in Week 2, Maclin's Week 3 playing status flutuated throughout the week. He's been dealing with a hip injury for some time now and hopefully the rest has served him well.

Fantasy Analysis:

TE Brent Celek @BrentCelek is currently leading the Eagles in receptions, receiving yardage and yards per catch. Maclin's return and improved health will likely take a big bite out of that, but the Eagles continue to be one of the most fertile fantasy teams in the NFL. Between Michael Vick @MikeVick, LeSean McCoy @CutonDime25, DeSean Jackson @DeseanJackson10, Celek, and Maclin, there are plenty of mouths to feed. Maclin is best utilized as a WR2 or better yet a flex play on a weekly basis and relying on him to produce consistently is a tall order since there's only so many touchdowns to be scored on any given team. If possible, be patient before shoving him back into your starting lineup as his return may be rushed. Having the former Missouri receiver back will hopefully provide a nice rebound after the Eagles' tough 27-6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
